Dana and I were chatting with Dick's wife Lynn (Dick is the guy who did most of the work on my new bathroom and was at the house Sunday fixing a leak in the kitchen sink) about how amazingly comfortable a temperature of 17 degrees was compared to the nearly unbearable cold of 2 degrees. You can't spend a long time outside shoveling at 2 degrees - you lose feeling in your fingers and thus can't keep the shovel in your hands! But minus 22? There is no point in being outside in that weather ever, if you can avoid it.
